Fortnite has just released what could be its final week of challenges in this rather strange season. Here in Chapter 2, Epic has extended the season to run an extra two months until Feburary. Will there be more weekly challenges during that time? Is there a point to those once everyone finishes their battle pass in the normal amount of time? Who knows!
But all we have to go on right now is this new list of challenges below, and I would consider this a somewhat easy week, in the grand scheme of things. Here they are:
Search Ammo Boxes at Steamy Stacks or Holly Hedges (0/7)
It’s a pretty wide range of activities here with no particular theme that has to do with “Chaos Rising,” really, but that’s been par for the course this season. Search chests, ammos boxes and using ziplines are pretty self-explanatory. Eliminations with shotguns and eliminations from within 5 meters are two challenges that obviously pair pretty well together.

There’s a new skydiving challenge up by the Power Plant you should be able to see when dropping, but if not, we have a guide for that location there. You only have to do one Motorboat time trial, and here’s a guide for where to find one to do.
This week’s dancing challenge has you going to a series of multi-colored bridges around the map, and I wrote a guide for the Green, Yellow and Red steel bridges, since most people probably won’t remember where those are offhand, and there are a few other colors in the mix that may confuse things.
Finally, we’re out of FORTNITE letters in the loading screen, so this is an XP dump hidden in the screen this week, which may prove valuable to some people. But remember you have two extra months to hit rank 100 this season.
What a truly bizarre season this is. We’ll see if we get another challenge list next week or if the game just shifts to holiday events or something like that. For now, assume this might be the last list of normal challenges we get until February.
