Halloween is fast approaching and Fortnite will be celebrating with a third event. Leaks have shown us a glimpse at some of the skins to expect this time around.
Fortnitemares round 3, anyone? Halloween will be upon us before we know it and Fortnite will definitely be having another event complete with new skins and cosmetics.
The second Fortnitemares event was met with a lot of criticism due to the zombies so it’s up in the air on whether they’ll return, but we can count on a lot of themed skins.
Skull Trooper is coming back.
If you think back to two years ago when Fortnite launched, you’ll remember the prolonged Halloween event that spawned two of the rarest skins in the game: Skull Trooper and Ghoul Trooper.
The second event brought back a variant on the OG Skull Trooper while giving those who purchased it the first time around an added bonus.
HYPEX went through the files and revealed there are numerous skins that are set for an eventual release.
Big names from the list include the Skull Trooper Neon and Ghoul Trooper – Male, which indicates the OGs will be returning.
The Ghoul Trooper is only available in a female style currently which is why the male skin will be a big deal. It also means those who have the original female version will keep to have that remain an exclusive – at least for now.
For the time being, these are just leaked names so there’s no telling if they’ll actually be coming to the game or not. HYPEX is a very well-known name in the Fortnite community and usually, their leaks are on the money.
Halloween skins have been lucrative for Epic in the past and it certainly looks like they’ll be doubling (tripling?) down it again for another year.
