Time Trials were a fun thing when they first showed up back in Season 5 of Fortnite: Battle Royale. At first, nobody really knew what they were, and assumed that they had something to do with the racetrack in the desert(also being used in a challenge this week). After that, we realized what they were: weird little obstacle courses scattered throughout the world that asked you to use Fortnite’s particular kind of building-augmented traversal to navigate through a series of checkpoints. Some were hard, and some were easy, but they were all ways to turn a combat game into something like a very strange platformer. And that’s why I’m glad to see them return here in Season X, as we make our way through the memorable locations of Season’s past. Here’s your map, guide and location for where to complete a timed trial East of Pleasant Park.
To start with, we’ve got to know where we’re going. East of Pleasant Park is specific enough that this shouldn’t be all that hard to find. Here’s where you want to drop:

When you’re on the ground, look for a floating blue stopwatch icon. by a yellow RV. Here’s what it looks like on the ground:

Activating this will begin the Time Trial, and don’t worry! It’s comically easy. There’s a driftboard nearby, but I wouldn’t recommend grabbing it: it will make you a bit slippier and it’s not really necessary. You only need to build one piece to get this done: there’s a final checkpoint on top of the RV that you’ll need, but aside from that you just need to run on the hill. I thought that maybe this would be a bit harder, but that doesn’t seem to be the theme of the challenges this season.
