Fortnite is back with another week of challenges, and this time, I have a feeling a number of players are going to hate them. Why? Because these “Team Spirit” challenges are all about teamwork and playing with other players, which many solo Fortnite players are not going to enjoy. And I’d say 12 out of these 14 challenges need to be done in duos or squads or other team modes, and many rely on working together with teammates.

Here’s the list of challenges for the week:

Normal

Prestige

  • Finish top 20 with a Friend (0/3)
  • Assist teammates with eliminations in a single match (0/5)
  • Use a launchpad in squads or duos (0/1)
  • Heal a teammate with a Cozy Campfire in different matches (0/3)
  • Mark a chest, a shield item, and healing item in a single match (0/1)
  • Deal combined damage with your squad or duo in a single match (0/1000)
  • Reboot a teammate (0/1)

So, most of these are self-explanatory, but you may need a refresher on a few of them. For instance, the Fortnite “mark” system they stole from Apex Legends is relatively new, so here’s a refresher on how to do that in case you never use it. Also, I believe the ability to pet pets has been added pretty recently as well, so here’s how to do that.

After that? I mean, just plays duos or squads I guess. You need co-op damage and healing with your team, and you need a teammate to fully die so you can reboot them for the final prestige challenge, which unlocks an alternate style for a battle pass skin.

This is a pretty boring week and one that many players will probably want to skip because of the team focus. And I wouldn’t blame you, as I’m an almost exclusively solo player myself. It was bad enough trying to get people to do the pressure plate challenge, now I gotta do 14 team challenges? Mannn.

Anyway, if you see me out there, I’ll let you pet my pet if I can pet your pet.
